The surface structure of carbonate reservoirs in China is rather complicated. The reservoirs are deeply buried, and dominated by secondary dissolution caves, holes, and fractures, which cause strong heterogeneity and anisotropy. Such geological settings make it extremely challenging to accurately image the fracture-cave unit, and this thus becomes the key issue in data processing.
