摘要

"左图右史"、"索象于图、索理于书"是古今学者治学和读史的重要方法。同文字与传统地图相比,影像地图以丰富的影像细节去表现城市的空间及地理外貌更为真实直观、生动形象,信息量也更加丰富,富于表现力。为了更好反映苏州市社会经济的迅猛发展和城市建设日新月异的最新成就,为开展城市规划、建设、管理提供便利,展现苏州亦古亦今、亦中亦洋、魅力非凡的风采面貌,利用最新高分辨率的数字航空摄影像作为底图,以"园林之城、东方水都、城市变迁"为主题,辅以直观形象的地图语言、图片和文字介绍编制了《苏州市影像地图集》,全方位见证了苏州城市发展进程。据此,主要对《图集》编制的设计思路、编制内容、地图编绘等方面分析研究。
        "Left picture and right history‘and'cable as in figure and cable in the book"is an important method for the research of ancient and modern scholars and histories.Compared with the traditional text and map,image map image with rich details to show the city's geography appearance,expression of city space is more intuitive,more vivid,more information,and mor expressive.In order to reflect the rapid development of social economy in Suzhou and the latest achievement urban construction changes with each passing day,to provide convenience for city planning,construction and management,and to show Suzhou with both ancient and model as well as both Chinese and westernized elegant demeanor,the Image Atlas of Suzhouis edited.It used high-resolution digital aerial photography as reproduction,used "Garden City,Oriental Water City,change"as the theme,with intuitive image map language,pictures and text,reflect the process of Suzhou urban development.The design ideas,contents,and map compilation for this atlas is studied.
