宫颈癌石蜡切片在太赫兹时域光谱下的成像及分析

摘要
目的 利用太赫兹时域光谱技术(THZ-TDS)对宫颈癌组织石蜡切片进行成像,探究太赫兹时域光谱技术对宫颈癌组织诊断的可行性。方法 两样本分别于2017年12月28日和2018年3月8日,在江苏大学附属医院妇科手术、病理明确为宫颈腺癌和宫颈鳞癌。使用1 200目砂纸对宫颈癌石腊块进行细磨,制备厚度3.5 mm的石蜡切片。使用频率范围0.1~3.0 THz、分辨率为3.8 GHz的太赫兹时域光谱仪对石蜡切片进行扫描成像。结果 癌症组织、癌旁组织和正常组织对太赫兹波具有不同的吸收、穿透特性,利用太赫兹波可以明显识别。结论 利用太赫兹时域光谱技术行宫颈癌检测,减少了常规病理检测需要切片、染色和人工观察等环节,简化了检测流程,检测结果通过谱图的形式直观显示,不依赖于操作人经验判断,降低误诊概率,提高宫颈癌组织的检出率和效率。
        Objective THZ-TDS was used to image the paraffin section of cervical cancer tissue.Methods The two samples, which were pathologically confirmed as cervical adenocarcinoma and cervical squamous cell carcinoma were surgically removed by gynecologists from the affiliated hospital of Jiangsu university on December 28, 2017 and March 8, 2018, respectively.Paraffin embedding tissue was finely ground with 1 200 mesh sandpaper, and paraffin section with thickness of 3.5 mm was prepared. A terahertz time-domain spec-trometer with a frequency range of 0.1-3.0 Thz and a resolution of 3.8 GHz was used to scan the paraffin section. Results Cancer tis-sues, paracancerous tissues and normal tissues have different absorption and penetration characteristics for terahertz waves, which can be clearly identified by using terahertz waves. Conclusion Using THz time domain spectroscopy to detect cervical cancer reduces the need of section, staining and manual observation for routine pathological examination, and simplifies the process of detection. The re-sults of detection are displayed directly by spectrum. It does not depend on the operator's experience to reduce the probability of mis-diagnosis and to improve the detection rate and efficiency of cervical cancer tissue.
