摘要
伴随着政府和高校一系列"引智"工程,高校具有海外学位背景的博导规模在迅速扩张。那么,具有海外学位背景的博导相较于"本土"博导,二者指导博士生的水平谁更胜一筹呢?本文基于2017年"中国博士毕业生调查课题"的8207份博士生数据,运用线性回归和标准负二项回归分析了博导海外学位背景对博士生学位论文指导满意度以及博士生国际期刊论产出的影响。结果显示,具有海外学位背景的博导所指导的博士生,其国际期刊论文产出更高,但学位论文指导满意度更低。
With a series of "talent inviting project" initiated by Chinese government and universities, the scale of supervisors with overseas doctoral degrees in the universities becomes larger and larger. In this case, does supervisor with an overseas doctoral degree perform better than supervisor with a domestic doctoral degree on tutoring doctoral students? This paper focuses on the influence of supervisor with overseas doctoral degree on the satisfaction of dissertation tutoring perceived by doctoral candidates and the output of papers published on the international journal by doctoral students. We conduct an empirical research and use the Ordinary Least Regression and Negative Binomial Regression to analyze data from 61 universities and 8207 doctoral candidates participating in the National Doctoral Candidates Investigation. The results show that: supervisors with overseas doctoral degrees have a negative impact on doctoral students' satisfaction on dissertation tutoring, though they have a positive influence on the output of international journal publications of doctoral students.
